How much do pet sitters earn in the Netherlands?
Earnings depend on the service mix. Dog walking pays 13 to 22 euro per walk, drop-in visits 12 to 22 euro per visit, boarding 25 to 50 euro per night, house sitting 30 to 55 euro per night. Full-time sitters in Amsterdam and Utrecht can clear well over Dutch minimum wage hourly.
Do I need to register as ZZP for pet sitting?
For regular income, yes. Register with the KvK as ZZP'er. Zelfstandigenaftrek (3,750 euro) and startersaftrek for the first three years significantly reduce your taxable income.
What services can I offer?
