Our story

We started with a frustration

We built Petme because we were tired of choosing pet sitters based on star ratings alone. As pet parents ourselves, we knew the anxiety of leaving our dogs and cats with strangers. We wanted to see their lifestyle, their own pets, their home. The real them.

So we built a platform where you can view sitters' full social profiles before booking. See their posts, their pets, how they live. It's the transparency that was always missing from traditional pet sitting apps.

We spent over a year perfecting this, talking to hundreds of pet parents who shared the same frustration: "I just want to know who this person really is." That conversation shaped everything. Not just how profiles work, but what pet sitting itself should look like on Petme.
