My experience with pet care comes from a deep, personal love for animals. My first dog, Cindy, was a rescue from an abusive home. When she first came to me, she was terrified of people, but with patience, kindness, and lots of love, she slowly came out of her shell and learned to trust again. Watching her transformation taught me just how much compassion and a safe, loving environment can mean to an animal. I also had the privilege of sharing 20 wonderful years with my Jack Russell, Ollie. Saying goodbye to him was incredibly difficult, but I truly believe that the love, care, and attention he received throughout his life helped him enjoy such a long and happy one. Today, I continue to put that same love into caring for animals by volunteering at a rescue shelter in Corfu. These experiences have taught me to be patient, attentive, and understanding of every pet’s individual needs and personality. For me, pet care is much more than a responsibility, it’s about making every animal feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for.
