Pet Care Across Greece

Petme connects you with verified pet sitters across Greece who have passed background checks and identity verification. You can browse sitter profiles, read reviews from other pet owners, and message sitters directly to find the perfect match for your pet.

Pet sitting rates in Greece typically range from €12 to €30 per day depending on the service type and location. Dog walking usually costs €8 to €15 per walk, while overnight boarding may range from €20 to €40. Prices in Athens tend to be slightly higher than in smaller cities and islands.

All bookings through Petme include the Petme Protection Plan, up to €20,000 of vet costs. It covers eligible veterinary treatment during the sitting period, giving you peace of mind while your pet is in our sitters' care.

Our Greek sitters offer a full range of services including daily dog walking, pet sitting visits, overnight stays at the sitter's home or yours, and extended boarding for holidays. Many sitters also provide additional services like grooming, medication administration, and puppy care.

Simply search for sitters in your area, review their profiles and availability, then send a booking request with your dates and pet details. Once the sitter accepts, you can arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure your pet is comfortable before the booking begins.

Greece has a relaxed attitude towards pets, and many outdoor tavernas welcome well-behaved dogs at their terrace tables. While some beaches have restrictions during peak season, many coastal areas and quieter beaches allow dogs, especially in the morning and evening. Our sitters know the best pet-friendly spots, including dog-friendly beaches on the islands.

Petme has verified pet sitters across all major Greek cities including Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, and Patras, as well as popular islands like Crete, Rhodes, and Corfu. Whether you're on the mainland or island-hopping, you can find trusted local sitters who know the best parks, walking routes, and pet-friendly spots in their area.
