About pet sitting in Zakynthos
The town of Zakynthos is the capital of the island. It spreads along the east coast, facing the Peloponnese, between the harbour and Bochali hill, where the Venetian fortress stands. Bochali, about a kilometre north-west of the centre, was the aristocratic quarter of the town in Venetian times.
A ferry runs from the town's port to Kyllini on the Peloponnese. The airport is a few kilometres south of the town, so owners who travel can book boarding, house sitting or drop-in visits. Summers are hot and dry, so walks work best early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Regular walks while you work are also an option. Availability changes from week to week, so check live availability in the Petme app before you plan.
