Owners in Ontario pay 0% to Petme. You pay only the sitter’s rate in CAD. CAD 20,000 vet protection on every booking.
What about HST/GST on the booking?
Sales tax is a sitter-side matter, not an owner add-on at checkout on Petme. Sitters who exceed CAD 30,000 in annual sitting revenue may register and remit; the combined sales tax rate in Ontario is 13%. You always see the final amount before booking.
Is the CAD 20,000 vet protection accepted at Ontario vet clinics?
Yes. The protection applies at any licensed Canadian vet clinic during the booking period. There is no deductible and the protection is automatic on every booking.
Can I find a weekend dog walker in Toronto?
Yes. Sitters in Toronto list weekend availability on their profiles. Filter by your dates and you only see sitters who are free on those days.
Does Petme cover winter walks in Ontario?
