I have been caring for dogs for 2.5 years now. I’ve worked with golden retrievers, staffys, pitbulls, yorkshire terriers, australian cattle dogs, etc. I usually work with dogs ages 1-16, and thus have experience caring for senior dogs and administering medication. When I am sitting or walking pets, I usually like to build trust first (giving them a treat, just sitting with them and letting them come to me, playing with them, etc.). Once trust is established, I love giving our furry friends cuddles, pets, long walks/lots of play time, and homemade treats (I always ask for permission ahead of doing this). I have lots of experience working with reactive dogs as well, so I have learned how to handle reactivity in a way that de-escalates and prevents harm rather than incites more panic. Overall very happy to work with a variety of pups, all I ask is for honesty and a brief meet and greet ahead of any bookings!
