Dog sitter questions in Santorini
How much does a dog sitter cost in Santorini?
Dog boarding in Santorini typically runs €20 to €45 per night, with dog walks around €10 to €18, and every sitter sets their own rate so you can compare and filter by price. There is no booking fee for dog owners, and every booking carries up to €20,000 through the Protection Plan for eligible expenses.
Are dog sitters on Petme in Santorini verified?
Yes. Every Santorini sitter completes ID verification before their profile can take bookings, and each profile shows reviews and photos from past stays so you can judge them before you message. The Protection Plan can also contribute up to €20,000 toward eligible vet costs.
Where do sitters walk dogs in Santorini?
Popular walking spots in Santorini include Caldera Walking Path, Kamari Promenade and Pyrgos Hill. Each sitter plans walks around your dog's routine, so you can share preferred areas and pace in the booking request.
Can a Santorini sitter give my dog medication?
Many Santorini sitters are comfortable giving medication, from tablets to ear or eye drops, though it is not guaranteed for every sitter. Note your dog's schedule in the booking request and confirm the details at the meet-and-greet so the routine is followed exactly.
Can I meet a sitter in Santorini before booking?
Yes. Before booking you can meet a Santorini sitter with your dog at no cost, check the fit and walk through your dog's routine. It is the best way to feel confident before the first stay, and most sitters are happy to meet nearby.
