Frequently asked questions
Dog sitter questions in Thessaloniki
How much do dog sitters in Thessaloniki charge?
Thessaloniki dog sitters typically charge between €12 and €28 per night for boarding, and €7 to €15 per walk.
Are Thessaloniki dog sitters verified?
Yes. Sitters in Thessaloniki are identity-verified, and you can read reviews from other dog owners and arrange a free meet-and-greet before you commit. The Petme Protection Plan can contribute up to €20,000 toward eligible vet costs.
Can I find a dog walker near the waterfront?
Many Petme sitters in Kalamaria and Ladadika regularly walk dogs along the Nea Paralia promenade.
What if my dog needs medication?
Note medication schedules in your booking request. Experienced sitters are flagged on profiles.
Is there a meet-and-greet?
Yes, and it is free. A meet-and-greet is the normal first step on Petme: you and your dog meet the sitter before you commit, so you can see how they interact and go over feeding, walks and any health needs. Most Thessaloniki sitters arrange it within a day or two of your message.
