About Pet Sitting in Hayward
Hayward is the Heart of the Bay , a diverse East Bay city of approximately 163,000 located midway between Oakland and San Jose on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay. As one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most ethnically diverse cities and the home of Cal State East Bay, Hayward combines a vibrant multicultural community with outstanding access to both bayside and hillside outdoor recreation.
Coyote Hills Regional Park protects 1,266 acres of San Francisco Bay shoreline, wetlands, and upland habitats with 10 miles of trail along the bay , one of the most dramatic urban wildlife experiences in the Bay Area and a favorite destination for Hayward families and their dogs. The park's bay trail views, wildlife marshes, and proximity to Hayward's neighborhoods make it an essential part of the city's outdoor culture.
Garin/Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park, perched in the East Bay hills above Hayward, offers 3,000+ acres of oak woodland, chaparral, and seasonal creek canyons with panoramic views of the Bay Area. The Don Castro Regional Recreation Area, anchored by its swimming reservoir, provides another major East Bay outdoor destination minutes from Hayward's central neighborhoods.
