About Pet Sitting in Sunnyvale
Sunnyvale is the Heart of Silicon Valley , a Santa Clara County city of approximately 155,000 at the geographic and technological center of the San Francisco Bay Area's tech industry. Home to the headquarters of LinkedIn, Yahoo, and dozens of major technology companies, Sunnyvale combines world-class employment density with a highly livable suburban environment and exceptional access to Bay Area outdoor recreation.
Sunnyvale Baylands Nature Preserve, at the city's northern edge along San Francisco Bay, protects sensitive wetland habitat with 2 miles of nature trail that provide a remarkable wildlife corridor at the edge of one of the world's most densely developed technology hubs. Washington Park and Las Palmas Park serve as the city's primary community gathering spaces, with extensive green space, sports facilities, and pet-friendly walking paths.
The Stevens Creek Trail, running through Sunnyvale and connecting to Mountain View's Shoreline Regional Park, offers one of the South Bay's best off-road walking and cycling routes for dog owners. Ortega Park and the network of neighborhood parks throughout Sunnyvale's mature residential neighborhoods give the city an unusually high density of accessible green space for a Silicon Valley community.
