Every pet deserves love, patience, and a pep talk 🐶

I grew up caring for my dachshund, Sunny, and have experience providing extra care when he needed it most. When he developed a spinal issue and became temporarily paralyzed, I was responsible for giving him his medications and helping him move safely. I was also the only person he felt comfortable letting pick him up, so I learned how important patience and gentleness are when caring for an animal. I also have over 50 hours of volunteer experience at Austin Pets Alive!, where I’ve walked dogs and worked with puppies in the parvo clinic. My responsibilities included socializing sick puppies, cleaning their enclosures, administering oral medications, and giving individual attention to mother dogs recovering from parvo. These experiences have taught me to be attentive to each animal’s needs, especially when they’re sick, scared, or need a little extra love.
