Certified Dog Trainer with 11+ Years of Experience | Passionate About Animal Behavior & Care

I have over 11 years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I got my first Golden Retriever when I was 8 and began training her at around 10, initially focusing on obedience and trick training. This quickly developed into a passion for animal behavior, and from the age of 14 I became more seriously involved in dog training. At 16, I completed an advanced dog-training program and received a certified dog trainer certificate. Since then, I have worked with dogs with a wide range of personalities, ages, and behavioral needs. :) My training experience includes obedience training, puppy training, reactive dogs, trick training, performance training and more. I particularly enjoy understanding why a dog behaves a certain way and adapting my approach to the individual dog rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. I currently have a 7 year old Golden Retriever named Sunshine who is quite literally the sun in my life. Moreover I have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I have also cared for many other animals, including cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, and hedgehogs, and I currently have two cats of my own. I am patient, attentive, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, understood, and comfortable while providing them with the care and attention they need 💛
