New to Canada, but not new to pet sitting!

I’ve had pets my whole life, including dogs, birds, fish, rabbits and guinea pigs, and I absolutely love caring for animals. I recently moved to Canada from Australia and am missing my two dogs, who are still back home with my family, so I’d love the opportunity to spoil your pets while you’re away! 🐾 I’ve been dog sitting (and occasionally cat sitting) for many years for family and friends (I’m now in my 30s), as well as through a pet-sitting agency in Australia. I’m happy to provide screenshots or links to my previous reviews - although I’m new to Petme in Canada, I’m not new to caring for other people’s pets! I’m currently not working regularly, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets lots of attention. I like to keep their routine as close as possible to what they’re used to, whether that means long walks, shorter strolls, playtime, plenty of sniffing and exploring, or relaxing on the couch together. I’m also happy to follow your instructions around how your dog interacts with other dogs and will always respect their comfort level. I live near Canada Olympic Park and have lots of walking routes, trails and grassy areas nearby with plenty of new smells to explore. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a dog wash and easy access to outdoor areas. I can also care for your pets in their own home if they’re more comfortable in familiar surroundings. I have experience giving basic oral medications to compliant dogs, have access to a reliable vehicle, and there is a 24-hour veterinary clinic just across the car park from my apartment. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets as I would my own — with patience, care, plenty of cuddles and lots of love. I can’t wait to meet them! 💕
