I have been spending time with animals for as long as I can remember! I’ve owned hamsters since I was young, volunteered for 2 years at a horse riding school, walked my neighbour’s dog voluntarily for a couple years, house-sitted a family friend’s house with 9+ cats and kittens, AND got a paid job last year walking my neighbour’s dog whenever she was away. All of these experiences have developed my confidence in looking after animals of all sizes and temperaments. I am currently studying Ecology and Wildlife Conservation at university, starting a module on animal behaviour, welfare and ethics next semester which I can’t wait to learn about!
