Patient, Earnest, and Thoughtful (PET) are pillars I stay true to when caring for pets, so you don't have to worry about your pets while you are away.

I have cared for an old German short-haired pointer (Ed) and an old Cat (Cat). I would often walk Ed in local forests, parks, or take a slow walk around the block, depending on how bad his arthritis was that day. I would wake up early to walk him and feed him proper portions for his weight, age, and breed. When letting Cat out, I would walk in the backyard with her so that other cats wouldn't bug her. As Cat was a social cat, I would play with her gently and sit with her while I did my work.
