When Your Kids Want a Dog, You Start Pet Sitting 🐶🐾❤️

Hi there! My husband and I have two girls, ages 3 and 6, who want their own dog in the worst way! Before taking that step, I want them to learn what it really means to care for a pet — the love, patience, and responsibility that come with it. Before we had kids, we had a black lab/collie mix named Athena, who we miss dearly. I potty-trained and trained her from a puppy, and she was a huge part of our lives. I also grew up with dogs of all sizes and personalities and have also frequently pet sat my friends dogs, so I’m comfortable with different breeds and temperaments. I treat every animal like my own and make sure they get all the love, attention, and playtime they deserve. For boarding, I typically care for one dog at a time (unless otherwise agreed upon) to ensure your pet gets my full attention. Dogs are welcome on the couches and furniture, and I take them on at least one walk per day (up to three depending on weather and season). We also have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space for your pup to run and play safely. Your dog will be treated like family here — loved, spoiled, and well cared for every step of the way. 💕🐶
