I’ve spent years caring for animals and have extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all different personalities, sizes, and needs. I currently work in professional dog bathing, so I’m comfortable handling dogs safely and confidently, reading their body language, maintaining routines, and making sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. Outside of grooming, I’ve been around and caring for dogs for years, including dogs with different energy levels, temperaments, and quirks. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, crate routines, bathing, brushing, administering basic medications as directed, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. I also have experience with horses and have spent a significant amount of time around equestrian care and handling. Being around animals has taught me to pay close attention to their behavior and communicate with them patiently rather than simply expecting them to adapt to me. When an animal is in my care, I treat them like they’re my own. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely at home while their person is away.
