I’ve cared for different types of dogs over the years, including my golden retriever, a Labrador/Husky mix I rescued, and a female stray dog who survived a motorbike accident. She was almost paralyzed, and I looked after her through recovery until she could walk and run again. This taught me patience, gentle handling, and deep understanding of recovery rehabilitation needs. I’ve managed behavior training for a reactive rescue, giving me confidence in reading dog body language and supporting anxious or sensitive pups. I’ve administered pain medication, oral tablets, liquid meds, eye drops, and intramuscular injections when needed. I’m familiar with allergy signs, food sensitivities, and safe nutrition. I prepared fresh homemade meals tailored to each dog’s needs and always ensured they avoided harmful foods. For grooming, I keep the experience calm and safe, bathing without splashing the face or ears, cleaning ears separately afterward, trimming nails, and applying tick and flea treatments like Frontline (ampule or spray). I focus on making every dog feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. Dogs have always been part of my heart. I care for every pup with the same love and gentleness I give my own dogs.
