A local edge

Local know-how pays off in Izola

Izola sits where Alpine, continental, and Mediterranean weather meet: snowy winters inland, warm summers, and a milder coast. Walkers who read the local season, from icy mountain-town mornings to hot coastal afternoons, keep their bookings where one-season walkers lose them.

When demand peaks

Demand peaks over the summer holidays and the tourist season, plus the winter and ski holidays. Boarding and house sitting lead when owners travel; walking and drop-in visits carry the working week.

Most bookings cluster Staro Mesto to Jagodje. Owners look for walkers who know the local parks and leash rules, and who can turn up on a regular schedule.

Breeds you will meet in Izola

Owners here mostly keep Labrador, German Shepherd, Karst Shepherd, Golden Retriever. Knowing how those breeds behave, and saying so on your profile, is what turns a first booking into a repeat client.
