A local edge

Local know-how pays off in Malmo

Malmo runs long, dark winters with snow and short daylight, then mild summers with very long days. Walkers who handle ice, use the brief winter daylight, and put the long June evenings to work keep bookings steady while seasonal walkers fade in the dark months.

When demand peaks

Demand peaks over the summer holidays around Midsummer and July, and again at Christmas, when owners leave the city. Boarding and house sitting lead during holidays; dog walking and drop-in visits carry the working week for commuters.

Know your Malmo routes

Most bookings cluster Innerstaden to Limhamn-Bunkeflo. Owners look for walkers who know the local parks and leash rules, and who can turn up on a regular schedule.

Breeds you will meet in Malmo

Owners here mostly keep Labrador, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Swedish Vallhund. Knowing how those breeds behave, and saying so on your profile, is what turns a first booking into a repeat client.
