About Pet Sitting in Borås
Borås sits along the Viskan river in southern Sweden's lake-rich highlands, surrounded by pine forests and small lakes that make it one of West Sweden's most dog-friendly cities. Rya åsar to the northeast offers elevated woodland trails and viewpoints. Ramnaparken sits next to Borås Zoo and features wide paths, ponds, and mature trees. To the south, Pickesjön has beaches, picnic areas, and a long lakeside trail. The Viskan riverside paths connect city districts in a green ribbon running through the entire city.
Borås neighbourhoods offer different paces for pet owners. Centrum has Stadsparken with fountains and well-kept lawns. Sjöbo to the north hosts Sjöbo idrottsplats and residential areas backed by forest. Hässleholmen and Hulta are modern areas with good access to parks and trails toward Ymerssjön nature reserve. Brämhult near Borås Sportcenter suits active sitters. Norrmalm and Bergsäter sit close to the centre with a mix of apartments and townhouses. Trandared slopes toward Pickesjön with detached homes and gardens.
Petme connects Borås pet owners with verified, local sitters. The Protection Plan can contribute up to 221,000 kr toward eligible vet costs, so whether your dog runs in Ramnaparken or your cat rests at home in Hulta, you have complete peace of mind. From daily walks to holiday boarding, trusted pet care is available across all Borås districts.
