FAQ

Cat sitting in Livingston: common questions

How much is cat sitting in Livingston?

Cat sitters in Livingston usually charge around £11 to £17 a visit. Each sitter sets their own rate and you see it before you book. Petme adds a 0% booking fee, so that rate is the whole price.

Are cat sitters in Livingston checked?

Yes. Every cat sitter on Petme passes ID and background checks before their profile goes live. You can read reviews from past bookings and message the sitter before you book, and the Protection Plan can contribute up to £20,000 toward eligible vet costs.

Does Petme charge owners a fee?

Petme charges owners a 0% booking fee. You pay the price the cat sitter sets with nothing added at checkout, and you earn cashback on every completed booking toward a later one.

Will my cat be okay with a cat sitter?

Many cats cope better at home than in a cattery, because their territory, smells and routine stay the same. A Livingston cat sitter visits to feed them, clean the litter and keep them company, and you can ask for an update after each visit.

Can I find a cat sitter near Craigshill, Livingston?

Yes. Search from Craigshill to see the cat sitters closest to that part of Livingston, including nearby areas such as Dedridge and Murieston. Message them to check they can reach your street before you book.

When should I book cat sitting in Livingston?

Book early for the school holidays in Livingston, when many owners travel at once. In Scotland the summer break starts in late June. Sitters set their own calendars, so check dates with the cat sitter when you message them.

When do I get cashback on a booking?

Cashback is credited to your Petme balance once a visit is complete, capped at £20 per booking, and you can use it on a later booking. That is how each completed visit makes the next one cheaper. It is reversed if the booking is cancelled or refunded.
