Local know-how pays off in Craigavon
Craigavon has a wet maritime climate with rain spread across the year, frosty spells in winter, and short winter days that leave a narrow window of daylight. Walkers who carry a raincoat and a towel, plan sheltered routes on the wettest days, and hold their slots through the drizzle keep the regulars that fair-weather walkers lose.
When owners travel
Demand peaks over the summer holidays and across Christmas and New Year, with a second wave on the February, May and October half-terms and the bank-holiday weekends. Boarding and house sitting lead when owners travel; walking, daycare and drop-in visits carry the commuting week.
Know your Craigavon areas
Most bookings cluster Brownlow to Highfield. Owners look for sitters who know the area and can reach them without a long trip.
Breeds you will meet in Craigavon
Owners here mostly keep Labrador Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, French Bulldog, Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Knowing how those breeds behave, and saying so on your profile, is what turns a first booking into a repeat client.
Paid house sits in Craigavon homes
Craigavon's estates were built around small village centres, with paths that keep walkers apart from traffic. Paid house sitting means staying overnight in the owner's home in Brownlow, Mandeville or Legahory with their pets. You keep the post collected, the bins out and the animals on their routine. Christmas and the summer school holidays are when owners are away longest.
