Yes. Every sitter on Petme goes through a verification process before they can accept bookings. We check identity, review the profile, and require agreement to our pet care standards. Profiles show real reviews from previous clients.

Every booking through Petme includes up to €20,000 coverage for veterinary expenses. This covers unexpected accidents or illnesses that occur while your cat is in the sitter's care. Coverage applies at real Bulgarian veterinary clinics.

Of course. We encourage a meet-and-greet before every first booking so your cat can get used to the new sitter. You can arrange this directly through the Petme app. The meet-up is free and does not commit you to anything.

Many of our sitters have experience administering medication. You can specify medication needs in your request, and only sitters who are comfortable with those requirements will accept. The free meet-and-greet before booking is a good opportunity to walk through the specific dosing schedule.

Both options are available. In-home sitting means the sitter comes to your home so your cat stays in their own environment (less stress). Boarding means your cat goes to the sitter's home. Drop-in visits are the cheapest option: the sitter comes once or twice a day for feeding and play.
