Twice-daily visits

For kittens, senior cats, or cats on medication, two visits a day is normal. Budget two visit fees per day rather than one.

Overnight house sitting: CAD 40 to 90 a night

A sitter stays overnight in your home so your cat keeps full company and routine. Worth the premium for cats with separation anxiety or complex needs.

Why two quotes can differ

City size is the main factor: Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal sit at the top of every range, smaller cities at the bottom. Number of cats matters too, though a second cat usually adds a small amount rather than doubling the rate.
