A local edge

Local know-how pays off in Münster

Münster is a cycling and university city: around the Altstadt, in the Kreuzviertel and Gievenbeck, many students and young families keep indoor cats. Short distances and a high cat density make an evening route of several households easy.

When demand peaks

Summer holidays, Christmas and the semester breaks are the strongest weeks, when students and families travel.

Know your Münster areas

Most cat bookings cluster in the Kreuzviertel, Mauritz and Gievenbeck. Owners book the sitter who can reach them quickly for a daily visit, so the areas you list matter more than the distance you are willing to travel.

Where is cat sitting demand strongest in Münster?

What does a typical cat sitting visit involve?

Can I set my own visit schedule in Münster?
Yes. You set your available hours and accept or decline each request. Morning and evening visit slots fill first, and you can stack several nearby visits around Altstadt and Kreuzviertel into one efficient round.
Which weeks book out first for cat sitting in Münster?
The weeks owners travel: the Sommerferien and the run from Weihnachten to Neujahr, then the shorter Osterferien and Herbstferien. Because the summer holidays are staggered by Bundesland, the busy stretch in Münster starts and ends on its own state's calendar rather than a national one, so check yours and open those dates early. On a winter visit, confirm the heating is still on and the home has not gone cold before you leave.
