Why Firenze pet owners book cat sitting on Petme
FAQ
Common questions about cat sitting in Firenze
How much does cat sitting cost in Firenze?
Drop-in cat visits in Firenze typically run €15 to €25 per visit. Most owners book one to two visits per day depending on the cat. Petme charges 0% owner commission, so the rate you agree with your sitter is the full price.
Is in-home cat sitting better than boarding in Firenze?
For most cats, yes. Cats are deeply territorial and a strange environment can cause stress eating, litter avoidance, and hiding for days. Drop-in visits at your own home keep your cat in their own space, with their own bowls, scent, and routine.
Can Petme cat sitters administer medication?
Many Firenze sitters list medication experience: daily pills, liquid, transdermal, and in some cases insulin injections. Filter by experience or confirm details during the meet-and-greet before booking.
What neighborhoods do Firenze cat sitters cover?
Petme cat sitters live across Oltrarno, Santo Spirito, San Niccolò, San Frediano, Campo di Marte, and the rest of Firenze. Use the map filter in the app to find a sitter close to your address.
What does the 20.000€ Protection Plan cover during a visit?
The Protection Plan can contribute up to 20.000€ toward eligible vet costs. If your cat needs urgent care during a visit in Firenze, eligible costs are covered. Full terms in the Petme app.
