Dog Boarding in Roma
Real homes instead of kennels
Roma traditional kennels keep dogs in concrete runs with limited daily contact. In-home dog boarding on Petme replaces that with a verified sitter's real home, a sofa, a bed, sometimes a fenced garden, real neighborhood walks, and the kind of one-on-one attention that lowers cortisol instead of raising it. Sitters across Trastevere, Prati, Parioli, Testaccio, and every other Roma neighborhood welcome boarding guests for weekends, week-long holidays, or month-long stays.
Petme charges Roma pet owners 0% commission. The nightly rate you agree with the sitter is the full price, with no service fees. The Protection Plan can contribute up to 20.000€ toward eligible vet costs. Cashback compounds with every completed night of boarding.

Why Roma pet owners book dog boarding on Petme
FAQ
Common questions about dog boarding in Roma
How much does dog boarding cost in Roma?
In-home dog boarding in Roma typically runs €25 to €50 per night. Pricing depends on dog size, special care, and length of stay. Petme charges 0% owner commission, so the nightly rate is the full price.
Why book in-home boarding instead of a kennel in Roma?
Kennels mean concrete runs, shared barking corridors, and minimal one-on-one attention. In-home boarding on Petme is a verified sitter's real home: sofa, bed, garden if available, real walks, and 1 to 2 dogs at most. Calmer for most dogs and especially better for anxious or senior dogs.
Can my dog stay with other dogs at the boarding home in Roma?
It depends on the sitter. Some accept only one boarding guest at a time; others welcome small social groups. Filter for "no other dogs" or "dog-social only" depending on your dog's temperament.
What does a meet-and-greet look like in Roma?
Before the first booking, the sitter invites you to drop by their home for 15 to 30 minutes. You see where your dog will sleep, the sitter meets your dog, and everyone confirms care details. This is included for free with every Petme booking.
What does the 20.000€ Protection Plan cover during boarding?
The Protection Plan can contribute up to 20.000€ toward eligible vet costs. If your dog needs urgent care during a boarding stay in Roma, eligible costs are covered. Full terms in the Petme app.
