Why Roma pet owners book house sitting on Petme
FAQ
Common questions about house sitting in Roma
How much does house sitting cost in Roma?
Overnight house sitting in Roma typically runs €35 to €70 per night. Pricing depends on number of pets, special care needs, and length of stay. Petme charges 0% owner commission, so the nightly rate is the full price.
What is the difference between house sitting and boarding in Roma?
House sitting means the sitter comes to your home and stays overnight; your pet never leaves their own environment. Boarding means your pet stays at the sitter's home. House sitting is calmer for anxious pets, multi-pet households, and pets on routines.
Can a house sitter handle multiple pets or special care in Roma?
Yes. Roma Petme house sitters routinely handle multi-pet households, medication schedules, special diets, and senior pet care. Mention all care needs upfront so the sitter can confirm their experience.
Does the house sitter take care of the house too?
Yes, lightly. Most Roma house sitters bring in mail, water plants, take out trash on collection days, and leave the home as they found it. House cleaning, laundry, or extensive home maintenance are not included.
What does the 20.000€ Protection Plan cover during house sitting?
The Petme Protection Plan can contribute up to 20.000€ toward eligible vet costs. If your pet needs urgent care during a house sitting stay in Roma, the Protection Plan can contribute to eligible costs. Full terms in the Petme app.
