About Pet Sitting in Lugano
Lugano, in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino, enjoys a subtropical climate that makes it a year-round paradise for outdoor dog walks. Parco Ciani, right on the Lake Lugano waterfront, is the city's crown jewel with its palm-lined paths, open lawns, and lake access. The trails up Monte Brè and Monte San Salvatore offer adventurous hikes with breathtaking views over the lake and surrounding valleys. The Cassarate River path provides a pleasant, shaded route through the heart of the city.
Lugano's neighborhoods reflect its Mediterranean character. Paradiso, just south of the center, sits directly on the lake with gentle waterfront promenades. Cassarate is a vibrant residential area with easy access to both the river and hillside paths. Viganello and Savosa offer quieter streets with garden villas and green spaces. Melide and Agno along the southern lake shore provide expansive views and a relaxed pace perfect for leisurely dog walks.
Petme brings trusted, verified pet sitters to Lugano's pet-loving community. The Protection Plan can contribute up to CHF 20,000 toward eligible vet costs for total peace of mind. Whether your dog enjoys lakeside strolls through Parco Ciani, mountain trail adventures on Monte Brè, or a cozy stay with a sitter in Paradiso, Petme delivers warm, professional care in Ticino's most stunning lakeside city.
