ethicalanimalcareAnimals are living organisms, characterised by having nervous systems and often a brain. It’s the nervous systems that make possible a conscious experience of life, including feelings like pain, fear, or joy, as well as a will to live and a will to not suffer. Whereas plants or fungi, as they do not have nervous systems, they cannot cannot fear, suffer, love, or grieve. All humans, dogs, pigs, birds, and other animals can. And do. So, use plants. 🌱 Protect all fellow animals.
