“when are you going to get him a yard??” I hear this almost daily. And trust me, we’ll eventually be in a house instead of downtown and I’ll love having some green space, but Klaus doesn’t “need” a yard. Whenever we visit somewhere with room to run, he would much rather interact with us inside if that’s where we are. In the suburbs I see so many dogs left outside in their yards alone and while I’m not knocking that for that particular dog, I just know that wouldn’t be fulfilling for Klaus. He doesn’t want to just wander in the grass, he doesn’t want to just sniff, he doesn’t care to watch the birds and squirrels - he wants to interact with us. And we’ve built it that way! He barely even goes to the bathroom alone in a yard because he’s so used to city walks 😅 Does your dog entertain itself when left outside alone? Or do they just wait for you to come out or to be let back inside? Maybe it’s a breed thing..? #dogbreeds #workingdogs #citydogs #velcrodog

My last dog was like this and she was a boxer/pitbull mix 🤣 she would just sit there exactly like this lol she was the perfect apartment dog. She was also just reallly lazy and cuddly 🤷🏼‍♀️
