One of my goals this year is to explore more NEW areas. I love getting out and exploring, but tend to go to familiar areas and branch out from there. I want to see more of the great state of Montana and surrounding states. This photo is from Missouri Headwaters State Park. Somewhere I’d heard a lot about, but had never been until recently. It was super pretty! But I’m not sure if I’ll be frequenting it much this spring and summer. We saw a few (very slow moving due to the cold) garter snakes in the grass. Wild critters don’t tend to scare me, but I’m terrified of the dogs being bit by rattlers 💀 so snake areas freak me out. I’d check it out again during winter months if I was in the area, though!
