Man, I love my life 🤍 If you would have asked me three years ago where I thought I would be, this would not have been it. I couldn’t have even imagined it this way. But I’m truly so thankful for where I am. One big thing that has changed is how I view adventure. I used to think I had to get outside and be intentionally active for 2+ hours to have a productive day. Now I get outside to enjoy the beauty of the world around me and the company I’m with. As an “adventure” account, you see a highlight of my life. It may seem like I go on massive hikes or grand adventures all the time. But that’s not true. And I’m working on showing that more. This video? This is my favorite kind of adventure. The dogs all pile in, even Daria, because we won’t stray far from the car so she can tag alone. We drive away from town to the mountains - to a spot we know we will have to ourselves. Sometimes we’ll hike a bit, sometimes we stick by the car. But snacks and a cold beverage are a must. We just let the dogs be dogs and explore the new sites and smells while we breathe in the fresh mountain breeze and soak up the brilliant sunshine that we’re so lucky to have most days. It’s not a big adventure, but it’s a good one and always leaves us feeling full and content on the drive home.
