rachelMeeko had his first hydrotherapy session! Though he doesn’t have any current injuries or pain, we are using hydrotherapy as a more preventative measure to help build muscle and reduce the potential for injury as he is a pretty active dog. Some other benefits of canine hydrotherapy: • Helps build muscle while putting less stress on their joints • Improves cardiovascular fitness • Improves mobility • The warmth of the water helps to reduce swelling and inflammation, increases blood flow and increases muscle relaxation Has your dog tried hydrotherapy?
