This was Beau. He was found wandering highway 99. His former owner claimed he jumped out of his truck while he was moving back south. I rescued him from Madera Animal Services. 3 months later his right eye started swelling,the Vet said blood vessels behind the eye had ruptured from a fall or someone hitting him. He laid down for a nap and died. I was holding him at his last breathe. Only 2 years old,loved deeply and missed every single day. Never found out how he was hurt,it wasn't with me.
