Vandal always has something to say when I’m talking 🤣 and if we are having any family conversation, well he is ALWAYS a part of it, of and if we try to speak bit louder then he goes into full scream mode and of course he wins because he’s as loud as a train horn (sorry neighbors) Macaws are like toddlers on steroids, they never grow up, they are loud, messy, destructive and have knife on their face. But macaws are also the best companions, very loyal, cuddly, sweet, funny and intuitive and intelligent creatures Please note they are NOT pets, they’re more of a family member who needs lots of attention, and understanding and unconditional love, and will live very long life and sometimes might even outlive you. They deserve to be treated with respect and have their own space where they feel safe and their boundaries aren’t being crossed. Please be mindful and consider this when you think you want a macaw.. I waited 30 years to make sure I am ready and timing was right, and I was ready and able to give macaw a good life. When I adopted Vanny… the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We are used to him always talking over us, making mess and being demanding. We look at him as our adopted child. We don’t mind all cons that come with macaws because to us pros overweight all of them. I love you to pieces Vandal 🥹❤️🦜 you are the best thing that has happened to me, thank you for choosing me to be your forever companion (even tho you always yell for Papa, basically Vandals thinks that papa is his master and I’m his mate, it makes sense haha 😆)
