jasperandme123As glad as we are that adventure cats is more popular there have been far too many that quite obviously just put their cats in a bag or carry them by hand and take them outside or to pubs. We have seen cats screaming and clawing the doors to go back in, hiding under tables, escaping their harness and on to the street, shaking while being pulled on the leash. This is probably why many including veterinary professionals and cat charities are against leash training. Adventure cat training has to be done slowly and at your cats pace! 🥹 It is also so important to watch your cats body language and understand what they are trying to tell you❤️ here’s some signs to look for! Happy cat😸🐈‍⬛ - ears forward - Relaxed Tail up or like a question mark - vocal: chirps, purring, depends on your cat Curious cat 👀 - Ears pricked and facing forward - Slight head tilt - Whiskers straight out - Slight swish of tail - Wide eyes Stressed cat🙀 - Vocal: howling, yowling, hissing, growling - Puffed up fur - Flat ears or pinned back - Haunched or crouched - Trying to hide/run Do what makes your cat happy and enjoys not just what you want to do❤️
