maddie“I would love you over a hundred lifetimes and it would never be enough” 🤍 Maeve came to me at a time in my life when I think I needed her most. I was struggling with anxiety and the side effects of my medication for it. My boyfriend was also leaving for 18 months to complete a program across the country. I didn’t know if I’d ever own another dog again after tragically losing my last girl at 4 years old to cancer. But then Maeve popped up in a post shared by a close breeder friend. Her original home had an extenuating circumstance and had to back out last minute. She was said to be the sassiest in her litter, and she needed a home where she would get to hunt or play in sports. I saw that sweet little face and I swear it was like my other girl was telling me “it’s okay, you need her.” I spoke with Maeve’s breeder and she felt we would be the perfect fit for each other. Not even a week later, I flew down to pick her up. I never believed in love at first sight but I couldn’t contain the tears when I saw her. I immediately knew she was going to be special. And man, is she ever. 🤍
