Established as the world’s first national park in 1872 and spanning over 2.2 million acres, Yellowstone sits on top of an active volcano 🌋 has 1,000-3,000 earthquakes per year, has 290 waterfalls, and more than 500 active geysers. The highlight of the trip was probably seeing 7 grizzly bears in 1 day. It snowed the whole time, and it felt like I was in a zoo there were so many animals. I have a few favorite national parks, but this place definitely takes the number 1 spot. 🦬🐻🦊🦅🫎🦌🦫🌲🏔️
