em_lovesdogsI thought he was difficult.
Too much. Too intense. Too reactive.
But the first time I saw Fitz flinch—really flinch—at something I barely noticed…
I realized I’d been missing what he was trying to tell me.
He wasn’t trying to be difficult.
He was trying to feel safe.
And I didn’t know how to help yet.
The hardest part of this journey wasn’t the training.
It was learning to see him clearly, without the lens of fear, pressure, or other people’s opinions.
Changing how I saw him changed everything.
💛 If this hit home, you’re not alone.
