aliciaDo you brush your dog’s teeth? 🦷 Here’s a little window into Hattie’s bedtime tooth brushing routine. She loves it! She will constantly try to lick off the toothpaste or chomp on the brush but she always asks for more. Brushing your dog’s teeth is just as important for their dental health as it is for our own. Some research has shown that ‘periodontal disease’ occurs in 80% of dogs by the time they are three years old! 😮 This is a routine I started when Hattie was a tiny puppy so she is very used to having this done. If you are just starting to introduce your dog to brushing then I would do so slowly. There are some simple tips/steps on how to introduce this on virbac_uk website! We use their enzymatic toothpaste and their dual-ended brush 🦷 Hattie also gets regular natural treats/chews to aid in keeping her teeth clean which works great alongside brushing 🥰
