em_lovesdogsThere’s nothing admirable about a dog being afraid of their human.
It’s not a flex. It’s not training. And it’s definitely not love.
Dogs aren’t meant to be dominated, broken, or controlled—they’re meant to be understood, supported, and respected. Fear-based relationships erode trust, and when we strip away trust, we strip away safety. Not just for the dog, but for the people around them too.
Reactive dogs don’t need more fear.
They need more support.
More structure.
More understanding.
More consent-based handling.
More you’re safe here.
If your training plan starts with fear, it ends in failure.
We don’t earn respect by overpowering our dogs. We earn it by listening to them, learning from them, and showing them we can be trusted.
Kindness isn’t weakness. It’s leadership.
Let’s do better.
Stop supporting abusive trainers.
