FAQ
Common questions about cat sitting in Geneva
How much does cat sitting cost in Geneva?
Cat sitting drop-in visits in Geneva typically run CHF 25 to CHF 45 per visit. Most owners book one to two visits per day. Petme charges 0% owner commission, so the per-visit rate is the full price.
Is in-home cat sitting better than boarding a cat?
For most cats, yes. Cats are deeply territorial and a strange environment can cause stress eating, litter avoidance, and hiding. Drop-in visits keep your cat at home with their own bowls, scent, and routine.
Can Petme cat sitters administer medication?
Many verified Geneva sitters handle daily pill, liquid, or transdermal medications. Insulin injections require an experienced sitter. Confirm specifics during the meet-and-greet.
How often do sitters visit?
You choose the schedule. Most Geneva owners book once-daily visits for healthy adult cats and twice-daily for kittens, seniors, or cats on medication. Visit length is typically 30 to 60 minutes.
Do you have bilingual sitters in Geneva?
Yes. Geneva is a bilingual city and many Petme sitters there communicate in both French and English. You can message sitters before booking to confirm language preferences and discuss your cat care needs in whichever language you prefer.
