Local guide
Dog boarding in Lugano, TI: what to know
Lugano is the largest city in Ticino, set on the north shore of its namesake lake with Monte Bre and Monte San Salvatore framing the skyline. The Mediterranean-influenced climate means mild winters and warm summers, so dogs get year-round outdoor time. Paradiso sitters walk the lakefront promenade to Gandria, Cassarate sitters take lower Monte Bre paths, and Breganzona sitters have hillside green space within minutes. Petme in-home boarding keeps your dog in a real home with this kind of daily rhythm.
Petme charges Lugano pet owners 0% commission. The nightly rate you agree with the sitter is the entire cost, no fees added. Cashback is credited after each completed stay. The Protection Plan can contribute up to CHF 20,000 toward eligible vet costs, practical protection since Ticino vet emergencies can carry significant costs just like anywhere else in Switzerland.
