Local guide
Dog boarding in Zurich, ZH: what to know
Zurich is a compact, walkable city with lake access, river paths, and forested hillsides within minutes of downtown. Dogs in Seefeld and Enge get lakefront walks along the Zurichhorn promenade, Wipkingen dogs head up toward Kaeferberg, and Wiedikon dogs run the trails toward Uetliberg. Petme connects you with verified in-home boarders whose daily routine matches what your dog already knows, a real home with a familiar rhythm rather than a kennel with concrete runs.
Petme charges Zurich pet owners 0% commission. The nightly rate you agree with the sitter is the entire price, no service fees added. Cashback is credited after each completed stay. The Protection Plan can contribute up to CHF 20,000 toward eligible vet costs, a practical safety net given that after-hours vet visits in Zurich can otherwise add up quickly.

Can I visit the sitter's home before the stay?
Yes. Every Petme sitter in Zurich offers a free meet-and-greet at their home so your dog can sniff the space, meet the sitter in person, and you can confirm the setup works before committing to a booking.
Are there sitters near Lake Zurich for dogs who like swimming?
Many Seefeld and Enge sitters are within walking distance of the lake, and several include lakeside walks or supervised access to the Zurichhorn green spaces in their daily routine. Mention swimming preferences when messaging sitters so they can confirm their usual routes.
