Cat sitting in Leith
Most cats do better at home than in a cattery, so a Leith cat sitter who comes to you is often the calmer choice. Petme sitters handle feeding, fresh water, the litter tray, medication if needed, and some quiet company, while your cat stays in familiar Edinburgh surroundings.
Every sitter is ID-verified and reviewed by other Edinburgh owners, sends a photo and note each visit, and the Protection Plan offers up to £20,000 for eligible incidents. Arrange a meet and greet first so the sitter learns your cat's hiding spots and routine.

Cat sitting in Leith: common questions
How much does a cat sitter cost in Edinburgh?
In-home cat visits in Edinburgh usually cost £14 to £22 per visit, with one or two visits a day being the most common. Price depends on visit length and the number of cats. Each Leith sitter sets and shows their own rate on Petme.
How often should a sitter visit my cat in Leith?
Most cats need at least one daily visit for fresh food, water and a clean litter tray; two visits suit kittens, older cats or those on medication. You agree the visit schedule directly with your Leith sitter in the app.
Can a Leith sitter give my cat medication?
Many sitters in Leith are comfortable giving pills, liquids or insulin and note it in their profile. Confirm the specific need when you message, and walk through it at the meet and greet. The Protection Plan offers up to £20,000 for eligible vet costs.
