Dog boarding in New Town
When you travel from New Town, a kennel run is not the only option. Petme boarding sitters keep your dog in their own Edinburgh home, with a normal routine of walks, meals and company, so an anxious dog settles instead of waiting in a pen.
Each host is ID-verified and rated by other Edinburgh owners, sends photos across the stay, and the Protection Plan offers up to £20,000 for eligible incidents. A meet and greet before the first night lets you check the home and the fit.

FAQ
Dog boarding in New Town: common questions
How much does dog boarding cost per night in Edinburgh?
Overnight boarding in Edinburgh typically costs £32 to £50 per night, depending on the sitter, your dog's size and the time of year. Holiday weeks book up first and sit at the top of that range. Each New Town sitter's nightly rate is shown on Petme before you book.
Is my dog boarded in the sitter's home in New Town?
Yes. Petme boarding is home-based, not a kennel. Your dog stays in a New Town sitter's home and follows a normal daily routine. Most sitters limit how many dogs they take at once, which you can confirm with them in the app before booking.
What if my dog needs a vet during a stay in New Town?
The Protection Plan offers up to £20,000 for eligible accidents and illness during the stay, subject to its terms. New Town sitters contact you straight away and can reach emergency vet care while you are away.
