SoHo cat sitters, booked through Petme

0% owner fee. Cashback on every booking. $22,000 Protection Plan. $29–$46 per visit in SoHo.

Cast-iron loft luxury, small-breed fashion, Hudson River-adjacent. Walks revolve around Broadway and Spring Street. Cats stress less at home. Petme cat sitters in SoHo come to your apartment for drop-in visits, feed and water, scoop the litter, refresh the play, and send a photo update. Twice-daily visits are the standard cat-sitting pattern in New York; full house sitting is the upgrade for cats with separation anxiety or complex medical needs.

About SoHo

Cat sitting in SoHo, what it actually looks like

SoHo is the cast-iron-architecture shopping neighborhood between Houston and Canal, with luxury loft conversions on the side streets and high-end retail on Broadway, Prince, and Spring. Sitter inventory is loft-and-condo-heavy with small-breed bias because most lofts have stair access and noise considerations.

SoHo sitters skew creative-industry and fashion-adjacent with flexible schedules. The breed mix favors small-breed lifestyle dogs: Frenchies, Cavaliers, Italian Greyhounds, Yorkies. Hudson River Park's Pier 51 dog run is the closest off-leash spot, a 5-minute walk west.

Where cat sitters work in SoHo

Petme cat sitters in SoHo know the local routes. Top spots: Broadway, Spring Street, Sullivan Street, Hudson River Greenway.

Breeds in the SoHo booking mix

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about cat sitting in SoHo

How much does pet sitting in SoHo cost?

Boarding $80 to $110 per night, walks $28 to $40 per 30 minutes. Among the most expensive NYC neighborhoods. Petme charges owners 0% on top of the sitter's rate, and bookings include up to $22,000 through the Petme Protection Plan.

Can sitters handle SoHo loft stairs?

Yes, this is standard. Brief on stair-count at the meet-and-greet; senior or arthritic dogs are routed to ground-floor loft inventory. Booking through Petme costs owners nothing extra: the platform fee is 0% and every booking earns cashback.

Where do SoHo dogs walk?

Hudson River Park's Pier 51 dog run, the West Houston dog park, and the quieter Sullivan/MacDougal residential blocks. Avoid Broadway weekends. Every sitter on Petme is ID-verified and background-checked before taking bookings.

Is SoHo too crowded for reactive dogs?

Weekends yes. Saturday afternoon Broadway is overstimulating. Sitters route reactive bookings to the side streets and time walks to weekday morning hours.

How much does a cat sitter in SoHo cost?

Single drop-in visits run $29 to $46 per visit in SoHo. Twice-daily visits run roughly twice that. Overnight house sitting (sitter stays in your home) runs higher. Petme charges 0% owner fee on top.

Is drop-in or house sitting better for my cat?

Drop-ins (20-30 minutes, twice daily) work for most cats and are cheaper. House sitting (sitter overnight in your home) suits cats with separation anxiety, complex medical needs, or unusual routines.

Can a SoHo cat sitter give insulin or oral meds?

Many can. Filter for "medical experience" and mention specifics (insulin, SubQ fluids, oral meds, eye drops) in the booking request. The sitter confirms before accepting. $22,000 Protection Plan covers in-stay incidents.

What about multi-cat households in SoHo?

Petme adds 0% owner fee on multi-cat add-ons. Many SoHo sitters specialize in 2 to 4-cat households, a common setup in dense city apartments.
